Paweł Hendrich's compositions have been commissioned, among others, by: Warsaw Autumn International Festival of Contemporary Music (premiere: Ensemble Musikfabrik), Deutschlandfunk (premiere: Kwartludium), Goethe-Institut, BHF-BANK-Stiftung and Ensemble Modern, City of Wrocław (world premiere: NOSPR), Polish Institute in Madrid (world premiere: PluralEnsemble), Institute of Music and Dance, Orchestra of New Music, Forbidden City Chamber Orchestra, National Forum of Music (for ensembles: Lutosławski Quartet, LutosAir Quintet), ZAiKS Authors Association, and Polish Composers' Union (for ensembles: Pablostrom, orkest de ereprijs).
For over ten years, he has been programming in the Max environment and performing electroacoustic music. Together with Cezary Duchnowski and Sławomir Kupczak, he creates a trio of Phonos ek Mechanes, which performs live electroacoustic music. Until now, the ensemble has performed at improvised, contemporary and electroacoustic music festivals as well as at concerts in Poland and internationally.
Released by the DUX label in 2010 was a monographic album of Paweł Hendrich’s Chamber Works, and in 2017, the album Metaforma. In 2012, Bôłt Records released the debut album C + - of the trio Phonos ek Mechanes. In addition, the composer's pieces were included on a dozen other CDs, including those published by Ensemble Modern.
